MAINSTREAM WRESTLING
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
★★★ JASON CASHE (C) ★★★
vs
★★★ BRYAN BLAZE ★★★
The chorus rolls into the Mainstream Wrestling Studio as Jason Cashe comes out from the back. His head has a bob to it as he stops at the stage. Looking around the empty studio before placing eyes on the ring. Cocking back, he howls and barks twice before throwing the World Heavyweight Championship across his shoulder and heading to the ring.
GRAHAM STEVENS: This match is set for ONE FALL! Introducing first from Houston, Texas by way of Decatur, Georgia. He is the Mainstream Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion...JASON—CASHE!
Stopping as the aisle turns to ringside, Cashe drags a foot creating an imaginary line. This is the line where when passed, the talking stops. Out from the back, Bryan Blaze throws Jason Cashe and the Champion flips and rolls onto the foot of the ramp. Pushing to get to his feet, still dazed by the chairshot before the match.
Cashe gets to a knee as Blaze rushes at him. The edge of the stage to his back, Cashe was bent over as he puts both feet under him. Blaze leaps up looking to hit his Canadian Destroyer off the stage but Cashe lifts his shoulder and Blaze falls down and slap crashes hard into the concrete floors at the foot of the stage.
Jason Cashe grabs Bryan Blaze by the head and pulls him to his feet and rolls him into the ring. He follows him into the ring and the bell finally rings to kick off this match. Blaze is whipped hard towards the corner. He runs up the turnbuckles but before he can execute any high risk counter, Cashe shoves his legs and Blaze flops down into a seated position on the top ropes. Climbing up behind him, Cashe hooks Blaze's head and pulls the challenger off the top ropes with a Reverse Superplex into a Cutter! Cashe twists and lands just right to knock Blaze's neck back! Rolling Blaze onto his back, Cashe hooks the leg for 1...2...KICKOUT!
Cashe slaps the mat and backs into the opposite corner and waves his hands like it’s over. Awfully early it seems but Cashe flies in for a Mark of Jason BUT Blaze ducks! Cashe keeps going, rebounding off of the far ropes and back in-he’s met with a Superkick! The kick jolts the Mainstream World Champion backwards into the ropes and he falls forward into another one! Cashe crumbles to the mat. Blaze looks around with a sadistic smile etched on his face, as he knows he now has the Champion right where he wants him.
Blaze begins stomping his feet and yelling obscenities at Cashe as he struggles to his feet. Blaze takes off, hitting the ropes on the opposite side as Cashe is almost up to his feet...he runs by Cashe again who seems to be out of it still, and turns to Blaze coming back off the ropes with a HELLACIOUS CLOTHESLINE FROM NOVA SCOTIA! Cashe spins in the air before falling face-first to the canvas! Blaze cackles as he rolls over Cashe and hooks the leg for 1...2...KICKOUT!
Moments later both men are back to there feet and coming off the ropes in a hurry, Blaze is caught by Cashe and spun around in a Tilt-A-Whirl but counters it after the whirl with a sick DDT! Now it’s Blaze in control and he’s pulling Cashe to his feet as he got up after the counter. Blaze whips Cashe into the far ropes, Cashe comes off the ropes and takes two big gallops towards Blaze before zipping forward into a front flip Cannonball that crashes his back and body into Blaze! Like a wrecking ball effect, Blaze crumbles back onto the canvas.
Cashe is hammering Blaze whom has managed to scoot himself back into the corner, but Blaze sneaks in a knee to the gut...followed by one that finds its mark on Cashe’s chin! The DioGee falls straight back and isn’t moving, so Blaze heads to the top rope and leaps off recklessly but nails 450 Splash!
Blaze doesn’t go for the cover however. Instead, he hoists Cashe up and picks him up in a firemans carry and sprints for the corner...but Cashe shoves him off and sends him careening into the top turnbuckle! As Blaze bounces back, Cashe rolls him up for 1...2...KICKOUT!
Cashe attempts a clothesline but Blaze ducks, and goes behind...snap dragon suplex! Both men are laid out on the canvas! The official looks around the ring and begins the count.

Jason Cashe is the first man to his feet with Bryan Blaze not too far behind but in an act of desperation, Blaze sidesteps a rushing Cashe. Cashe flies through the ropes and crashes to the ringside floors having gone for a Spear but found only empty space. With caveman motivation, Cashe stumbles as he hurries to his feet. Shaking off his big miss and slowly climbs onto the ring apron. Blaze meets Cashe on the apron, pulling the Champion's head between his legs before he can stand. Blaze leaps forward, grabs Cashe's waist and flips off the apron, NAILING Cashe with a Canadian Destroyer to the ringside floor!
A familiar spot from the last they met inside a ring. Blaze gets up and rolls into the ring. Smiling as he knows Cashe is near unconsciousness, if not asleep already. The referee counts and reaches 9 before Blaze realizes he cannot win the Title on a count out. He slides out of the ring, restarting the count. Stomping into Cashe, Blaze reaches down and pulls him by his head. The referee reaches 7. Blaze is struggling to get Cashe to his feet as he sluggishly lays him over the ring apron. Blaze bends down and works the legs, lifting Cashe up and rolling him back into the ring as the referee reaches 16 of the standard twenty count.
Groggily, Cashe begins to rise from the canvas. Blaze races across the ring, hits the ropes and picks up speed as he flies back at Cashe. Turning around, Cashe has no time to react as Bryan Blaze spins around, not losing his speed and clobbers Cashe with a Discus Clothesline that he calls 'Welcome to Nova Scotia'! Cashe folds up, his knees pressed against his shoulders as Blaze holds him in position, making the cover for 1...2...NEARFALL!
Slapping the canvas as he releases the roll up pin. Blaze is growing with frustration. Wanting to put Cashe away, to end the reign of someone many think is unfit to be Champion. Blaze scurries away, putting his back into the corner and waving for Cashe to rise. As the Champion gets up, he sits on his knees and falls onto his hands before trying to stand.
Blaze rushes in, Cashe pops up and shoulders into Blaze to prevent his progression. Blaze snaps forward with another Discus Clothesline but Cashe ducks it and Blaze grazes the referee causing him to stumble. Blaze turns around and Cashe field goal kicks him to the family jewels. Blaze folds forward, Cashe yanks his head down between his legs and hits a Stump Puller Piledriver with force behind it! Blaze bounces off the canvas. Cashe and Blaze both stay sprawled out on the ring as the official looks around checking both and begins to count.

Both men are struggling to their feet, Cashe gets to his feet first, right before Blaze pulls himself up, using the ropes. They meet in the center of the ring, still trash talking one another. Big right by Cashe! Returned by Blaze! Another by Cashe...another by Blaze! Back elbow by Cashe! Leaping enziguri by Blaze...Cashe ducks! Blaze falls hard to the mat. Cashe watches Blaze struggle to his feet, and grabs him in a reverse lifting DDT...and plants him to the mat! He hooks the leg for 1...2...KICKOUT!
Frustration appears to be setting in a little bit now, as he gives the referee a glare for a moment. He sends Blaze into the corner, and attempts to follow him in with a clothesline but Blaze runs up the ropes, backflipping over Cashe! Cashe turns into a stiff elbow strike sending him backward into the corner!
Blaze out of the corner with a Canadian Destroyer-NO! Cashe backdrops him off before he can hit the flip! Blaze smashes to the canvas and rolls to the apron. Cashe gives the Canadian no reprieve however as he sprints across and knocks Blaze off the apron! Cashe is in quick pursuit as he snatches Blaze up and whips him towards the steel steps, but Blaze reverses it, and sends Cashe into the steps shoulder-first! Blaze quickly grabs Cashe and sends him shoulder-first into the ring post and then tosses him into the ring! Blaze heads to the top rope, jumps off landing a picture perfect Meteora and hooks the leg for 1...2...NEARFALL!
CHARLES HUDSON: I think Blaze felt as much of that one as Jason Cashe. He’s doubled over wincing in pain following the near ending of this match.
The official checks on both combatants before beginning the count.

The Champion Jason Cashe begins to stir first as he’s on a knee now and he watches the challenger Bryan Blaze is now slowly rising as well. Cashe steps back and races forward, hitting a Shining Wizard Triangle Choke!
CHARLES HUDSON: Is that a submission attempt by the Champion?!
MCKAYLA LEWIS: A rare sight indeed but to continually defending the Mainstream Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship, one must become friends with the element of surprise! Hey Blaze.. Surprise!!
And Bryan Blaze was surprised! His arms wave about wildly as he reaches for ropes, slaps and pinches against Cashe's skin. The submission wasn't pretty but it was locked in as Cashe laid on his back with Blaze losing the strength to try and escape. Finally Blaze just rolls Cashe up into a power pin. The referee goes to slap the mat for a count but Cashe pushes out and releases his submission hold.
Both men get to their feet as fast as they can. Cashe reaches out with both hands as Blaze snaps sideways and connects with a Superkick! Cashe falls back and stumbles before slumping into the corner. He comes wobbly out of it as Blaze spins and dives with a Discus Clothesline but Cashe catches him by surprise once more as a 'Mark of JASON' crashes into Blaze's face!
The challenger hits the canvas, Cashe pounces on him, gaining a top mount position and immediately Cashe begins dropping elbows! One, two, three elbows unprotected land into Blaze's face! Cashe howls at the moon and drives one more down but Blaze blocks it and bucks Cashe off to the side. Blaze tries to get up but the elbow shots have his legs like jello and as he stands, Cashe leaps past him, catching his head and snapping him back with a 'UTI' Jumping Neckbreaker! Cashe scrambles to make the cover for 1...2...3!

GRAHAM STEVENS: Your winner by pin fall AND STILL World Heavyweight Champion...JASON—CASHE!
The official hands the World Heavyweight Championship title belt to Jason Cashe following a hard fought victory. Cashe raised both arms and ascends the turnbuckle in celebration. His music continue to play as he leans into the camera and says “Julie—baby, Hammer, Eli and Billy Boy! I’ll see next weekend and we’ll find out just who is the top DioGee in Mainstream really is!’
CHARLES HUDSON: No doubt about it Lou but this one stands out to me among the best of Bryan Blaze’s career here in Mainstream Wrestling!
MCKAYLA LEWIS: Jason Cashe has one more stop on the Road to the Four Year Anniversary on Thanksgiving Night and if you think tonight was tough just wait until he’s in there with Hammerstein, Billy Danielson, Julianna DiMaria and Eli Buchanan!
As Cashe exits through the curtain, Blaze is just getting up from the canvas. He looks dejected, another squandered opportunity. As he finally gets to his feet he begins pacing around the ring. He kicks at the bottom rope a few times, before rolling out of the ring and he stands before the commentary desk.
MCKAYLA LEWIS: Bryan Blaze understandably frustrated. This is his second title shot in a month, and he was unable to win in both contests.
CHARLES HUDSON: Yes, understandable. However, Blaze doesn’t look quite right, McKayla.
The lights suddenly go out. By now, everyone knows what that means. When they flicker back on...Cicada is not in the ring. Blaze begins to nervously laugh. He turns back around-WHAM! A chairshot echoes throughout the studio. Blaze falls to the floor and blood begins to trickle from a laceration on his forehead.
Over him stands Cicada, chair in hand. He tosses the chair aside and leans down to Blaze and says “Apagado de emergencia”. Cicada then picks Blaze up and slams him face-first into the ring post! The lights go out, and flicker back on. Much like in previous weeks, Cicada is nowhere to be found. Blaze stumbles to his feet, and almost falls again, catching himself on the announce table; blood still flowing from his head. He reaches over and grabs a microphone.
BRYAN BLAZE: Ha Ha, you think this is funny, right? EVERYONE thinks this is funny...RIGHT?!
“RIGHT? ‘Bryan Blaze is the weak link of The Franchise’, RIGHT?
“He’s a LOSER!”
“He’s a JOKE!”
“Well, I’ve had ENOUGH! I want to know who in the hell is behind the mask, and I want them IN THIS RING! Everyone thinks it’s a big joke! Well, I’ll show them it’s not funny...NOT—ONE—BIT!”
The company logo appears at the bottom of the screen as the show fades to black with the image of a deranged Bryan Blaze breathing heavily in the ring with blood still trickling down his face.
