A perfectly tailored suit, the best double windsor, and the crispest crease in his collar are the best accessories to the smile on Tedmund Montgomery’s face as he stands behind a podium that has his logo on the front of it. Even though he’s smiling, his lean on the podium with both hands having a firm grasp clearly shows he means business.
TEDMUND MONTGOMERY: Ladies and Gentleman, my name is Tedmund Montgomery and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mainstream Wrestling before they get to thank me.
He straightens his tie as the smile turns to a smirk.
TEDMUND MONTGOMERY: Before they get to see the return in their investment. You see, for years now I’ve stood on the sidelines and influenced the industry from afar. Consulting, managing, and even providing financial assistance to some of the less fortunate. However, a wise man once said, “The only way to make sure something gets done, is doing it yourself.”
Ted begins to undo the buttons on the front of his blazer before taking it off and throwing it over the podium as he steps out from behind it.
TEDMUND MONTGOMERY: And the only way I can assure the toxicity of this industry doesn’t rise to an alarming rate is to clean the filth from professional wrestling. One provocateur at a time. Even if it means….
Now he undoes his cufflinks and drops them in his pocket before rolling up his sleeves and swiftly loosening his tie as the smirk on his face grows aggressive.
TEDMUND MONTGOMERY: ….getting my hands dirty. And when it comes to dirt? I can’t think of anyone grimer than Cartier. If it isn’t the obscenities falling from her fake plastic lips, then it’s the indecent photographs, all the way down to her ‘signature’ forced posterior maneuver. Tonight is the first step. The first of many. Mainstream, Tedmund Montgomery is here. Shape up, or ship out.
SINGLES MATCH

★★★ CARTIER ★★★
vs
★★★ TEDMUND MONTGOMERY ★★★
The bell rings and the crowd begins to stir at the oncoming confrontation Tedmund Montgomery and Cartier sharing the center of the ring and in an effort to make sure that the match stays within the rules Tedmund extends a hand for sportsmanship. Cartier isn’t sure about it and Tedmund retracts the offer and gets into a grappling stance only for Cartier now to offer the handshake but as Tedmund tries to accept the handshake she embarrasses him and acts too cool for a handshake which sends Tedmund into a rage causing him to rapid fire combo open hand slap and chop Cartier back into the corner.
Cartier comes out aggressive, looking to brawl with Ted. He uses that to his advantage, though, staying out of range of Cartier’s dangerous fists and finding an opportunity to duck under a wild haymaker and slip behind her. With his hands gripped in a waistlock, he runs Cartier into a corner front first and knocks the wind out of her. He then slips his arms up into a Nelson and snap dragon suplexes the runner up of the Pinnacle Battle Royal, dropping her hard onto the back of her neck and bridging for 1...2...KICKOUT!
Cartier rolls over onto her back and is holding to the back of her head. Meanwhile Montgomery is up grabbing her by the head and chin lifting her to her feet. The two lock up but this time she manages to reverse the leverage on a collar and elbow tie up, but as soon as she presses the advantage Tedmund turns and rolls forward, picking Cartier’s ankle and snaring her in a kneebar. Cartier has to swim her way across the mat and find the bottom rope to break the hold, and when she gingerly hops back to a vertical base Ted is right there with a high drop kick that sends her over the top rope to the outside. Montgomery counts along with the official but his smug sneer fades away when Cartier slides back into the ring at six with a look of anger on her face.
Cartier is a house of fire, dropping Tedmund not once, not twice, but three times with huge right hands. When he stumbles up for a third time, Cartier is there to meet him with a spinning back heel kick that nearly de-cleats the brash, proud donor to every Republican PAC in existence. Ted scrambles away to lean against the bottom turnbuckle to catch a breath, and right when he turns he catches two knees to the face in the form of a running meteora. Cartier pulls him out to the middle of the ring by his feet and lays across him with a lateral press, arching her back to add weight to his shoulders for the cover of 1...2...KICKOUT!
Still woozy, Tedmund tries to distance himself from Cartier but gets caught against the ropes. Cartier feeds him a few high velocity forearms to the jaw, and Montomery’s knees buckle. Pulling him by his wrist, Cartier sends Tedmund across the ring with an Irish whip, slapping him on the back of his head for good measure as she pulls him to the ropes. She turns around and looks to give Ted a full course meal as she leaps up to execute the famed Eat This Ass rear view maneuver, but Tedmund has it scouted and ducks, causing Cartier to end up on his shoulders. Tedmund stands her up in an electric chair position, and as he thinks of what to do next Cartier leans forward into a victory roll, hooking Tedmund’s leg for 1...2...KICKOUT!
Meanwhile Cartier has the clear advantage she hits the hiptoss into knee lift and stalks him until Tedmund stands before taking off towards the ropes in a full sprint so she can hit ‘Eat This Ass’ but Tedmund ducks under it and catches Cartier before hitting an electric chair drop followed by a desperation cover for 1...2...NEARFALL!
Cartier and Tedmund struggle in a lockup, with Ted eventually taking the upper hand by dropping his center of gravity and flipping Cartier over in a fireman’s carry takedown. When he turns toward her she’s ready with an up-kick that staggers Montgomery, but a second attempt leads to him snagging her by the leg and pulling her up into a wheelbarrow suplex. Cartier is stunned but back to her feet by instinct, so Tedmund grabs her and lifts her into a body slam, opting to drape her over the corner buckles rather than follow through with the slam. Cartier’s feet are hooked in the corner and Tedmund hangs her in the tree of woe, giving her a quick stomp to subdue her before jogging across the ring and then running toward her and driving his feet into her face with a baseball slide that he takes to the outside of the ring. With Cartier still stuck in the ropes, Tedmund reaches back into the ring and pulls back on Cartier’s chin, trapping her in a modified camel clutch! The referee starts a five count, and Ted lets it get to 4.99 before finally releasing the illegal move, and Cartier flops onto her belly having finally loosed her foot from the turnbuckles.
With Cartier on her stomach, Tedmund takes a moment to gather himself and preen for the jeering crowd. He grabs a handful of Cartier’s weave, which anyone can tell you is a BIG no-no, but the Brooklyn Baller is too gassed to do anything about it before Montgomery locks an arm around her head and pulls her backward in a dragon sleeper. Cartier struggles and then Ted completes the hold by dropping into a body scissor! With the Interrogation Tactics fully applied, Cartier is i9n big trouble but putting up a valiant fight. She squirms and jerks her body enough to get within reach of the bottom rope, but Tedmund switches gears and adjusts his legs until he has her torso squeezed in a body triangle rather than just the scissors. Cartier is starting to fade, but just when all seems lost she gets the toe of her boot on the rope, and the official breaks things up much to Tedmund’s chagrin.
Cartier finds a second wind after catching Ted with a sudden thrust kick to the midsection that folds him over. Looking like she knows she needs to pull out all the stops, Cartier hops up and onto Ted’s back, hooking her legs through his arms and nailing him with a sunset bomb! Seeing that he’s already too close to the ropes for a cover, she waits for Ted to get to one knee before flying at him at top speed with the Empire State of Mind! The kinshasa connects, but Montgomery is sent falling through the ropes to the floor outside, and Cartier falls to her own knees, pulling at her hair knowing she won’t be able to get him back into the ring quick enough to secure a pin. She tries anyway, rolling Ted in with all her might as he’s fully deadweight, and when she drapes herself over him and the referee gets to only a two before Ted’s arm shoots off the mat, she hangs her head in exhaustion and frustration.
Later in the match Tedmund Montgomery finds his way and gets the upperhand. Ted works a side headlock for an extended period of time. Cartier tries to use the momentum of the ropes to throw Ted into the ropes, but she inevitably falls to a knee while Ted keeps the hold locked in and now with added pressure. Cartier gets to both feet and uses her elbows to jam into Ted’s ribcage causing him to break the headlock. Cartier immediately applies her own side headlock, but Ted quickly runs her into the nearest corner chest first breaking the hold and allowing him to suplex her into the turnbuckle!
Cartier slumps upside down in the corner until she manages to slide down into a seated position holding her lower back. She runs her fingers through her hair and slaps the mat! Montgomery remains on the offensive with repeated knife edge chops Tedmund is standing tall he takes a deep break and looks to finish her off with one final chop but she blocks it with her right arm then proceeds to kick him in the thigh dropping him to his knees. Montgomery stands as Cartier immediately runs towards the ropes bouncing off hard and nails him with her patented ‘Eat This Ass’ that he is unable to dodge this time! Her momentum sends her backwards landing on Tedmund Montgomery and pushing down on both his legs for a pin attempt as the official counts 1...2...3!
Montgomery kicks out but it’s too late and he wiping his face and mouth, even scraping his tongue with his fingers. He’s about to vomit outside of the ring in disgust. He regains his composure and is pleading with the official.

GRAHAM STEVENA: Your winner by pin fall is...CARTIER!
CHARLES HUDSON: Did you see that Lou?
MCKAYLA LEWIS: You can’t tell me that was a fast count...
CHARLES HUDSON: Not only was that a fast count but an illegal use of that woman’s behind...I mean my goodness this is professional wrestling at its finest not ladies night at the strip club! You usually have to pay double for that kind of action Lou!
MCKAYLA LEWIS: It’s one of her signature maneuvers Charles. I don’t see what the problem is because that move has single handed my gotten her over with the fans and won her several matches. It’s an impressive debut by Tedmund Montgomery but Cartier takes home the win tonight. After the break we return with more Mainstream Wrestling!
