BRADLEY CENTER - MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN
CONFLICT IS LIVE FROM MILWAUKEE INSIDE THE BRADLEY CENTER. HOME OF THE MILWAUKEE BUCKS!
MCKAYLA LEWIS: Ladies and Gentlemen it's Saturday Night and we're Live from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for CONFLICT!
CHARLES HUDSON: Coral Rose defends the Heavyweight Championship against Christina Idol in the Main Event!
MCKAYLA LEWIS: Also, AJ Knight defends the Endurance Championship against Stephen J. Eversol and much more!
The opening sirens to Disturbed’s “Indestructible” booms through the arena. The crowd in attendance instantly jump to their feet and are in an utter uproar at the arrival of one of Seattle Pro’s biggest fan-favorites, Bryan Blaze.
MCKAYLA LEWIS: It looks like we are going to hear from the former Heavyweight Champion!
CHARLES HUDSON: This ought to be good…
As the sirens continue and the first few verses kick in, Blaze finally appears on stage. The crowd quickly grows silent as they see Blaze on stage. He literally appears to be a changed man. He stands in tattered black clothing and a peculiar black mask covering his mouth.
MCKAYLA LEWIS: What on earth has happened to Bryan Blaze?
CHARLES HUDSON: Perhaps losing to Coral Rose broke him.
Blaze walks to the ring in what could only be described as a trance. His gaze does not shift even an inch for his entire walk to he ring, steadily at his feet. Once at ringside, he nonchalantly rolls into the ring. He quickly grabs a microphone from Graham Stevens and shooes him out of the ring. Blaze now stands in the dead center of the ring, his gaze still looking downward, with both of his hands grasping the microphone. He waits about a minute before raising the microphone up to this lips, and another minute passes with nothing more than heavy breathing on his part, echoing through the arena. This entire crowd is silent; unsure of how to receive the man whom stands before them. Likewise, Mckayla Lewis and Charles Hudson are equally speechless. Slowly, Blaze tilts his head forward, until his eyes meet the camera.
BRYAN BLAZE: At MAINSTREAM 5, I defended my THEN Heavyweight Championship of Seattle, against Coral Rose. A decent competitor and Seattle Pro mainstay. It was a good little match. That is, gentlemen and ladies, until BILLY DANIELSON decided to put my reign as Champion UNDER SIEGE.
Blaze begins heavily breathing into the mic again, seething.
BRYAN BLAZE: Many of you think of this whole Danielson/Blaze saga as a blood feud, and nothing more. Danielson himself does, I'm sure. That is, if he is capable of even that much thought. HOWEVER…
Blaze begins frantically pacing back and forth across the ring. He stops by the ring ropes, and kicks the bottom rope before returning to the center of the ring.
BRYAN BLAZE: I'm gonna level with all of you here tonight. I'm going to let you in on a secret. Something that has been plaguing my personal life.
“MY DAUGHTER…”
“My sweet, innocent daughter, Heather...well...she's sick.”
Again, Blaze begins to pace back and forth across the ring. This time, it seems a lot more frantic and frenzied. He abruptly stops and raises the microphone back up as he shakes his head.
BRYAN BLAZE: Real talk, Seattle. I have never been a fantastic father. This dream we are all chasing, it takes us away from your loved ones. It's the curse that we must bare. It's one I've lived with since her birth. One that I never should have asked anyone to endure with me. That's on me.
“But when she got sick...man, I knew I had to do something. I don't have a vast wealth like some wrestlers do, and that's what stung the most. The anxiety to afford medicine and procedures and the like.”
“That's when Robb Daniels approached me. Without knowing the situation at hand, Mr. Daniels handed me an opportunity. The Inaugural Emerald City Classic. A chance to win a shot at the Seattle Pro Heavyweight Championship, and the pay that comes along with being the top guy. Now, we all know that I lost that first match, but eventually won in a rematch. Remember the crying? The tears I shed after that cage match weren't for me. They were for Heather. Perhaps I could help her. Perhaps I could afford her the safety and security I never could before.”
“Foolishly, I thought that it could make up for fifteen years of neglect. That, suddenly, I could make amends. Perhaps that was stupid of me. But I could at least make a difference.”
“That brings us to MAINSTREAM 5.”
“A highly anticipated match with Coral Rose. And BILLY FREAKIN DANIELSON makes his triumphant return. Sabotages my Championship match and costs me my daughter’s lifeline. A chance for redemption. A chance to be a hero; a real hero for the first time in my life.”
CHARLES HUDSON: I can understand, kind of, where Blaze is coming from, but I think we are witnessing a man’s descent into madness…
BRYAN BLAZE: All Billy Danielson concerns himself is this blood feud which, don't let him fool you: consumes him just as much as it consumes I. This all will never truly end until one of us decimates the other. Until one of us goes away to never return. Until one of us is DESTROYED.
“So, I will make it real simple for everyone. Robb Daniels. I want a match with Billy Danielson. A time to end this, once and for all. Because if a match isn't sanctioned, I will not stop until I get my hands on the man that has cost me everything. The man who has put my daughter’s life in harm’s way.”
“And to Danielson: You couldn't possibly fathom the pile you have stepped in. This is not the same old Bryan Blaze that stands before you. Oh, no no no my son...THIS IS THE VENGEFUL ONE SPEAKING.”
“AND DANIELSON?! I WILL RIP YOUR F----NG THROAT OUT!”
The mic is slammed into the canvas as “The Vengeful One” by Disturbed booms throughout the arena and Bryan Blaze leave as nonchalantly as he arrived.
MCKAYLA LEWIS: Bryan Blaze may be the former Heavyweight Champion but he clearly has tunnel vision on getting revenge with Billy Danielson.
