The arena lights dim as a thunderous roar erupts from the crowd at T-Mobile Park. The sound of explosive fireworks fills the air, illuminating the stage in vibrant colors. As the pyrotechnics fade, the camera pans across the excited faces of fans, holding signs and cheering in anticipation. The lights focus on the ring where Kevin Bombay stands, microphone in hand, a warm smile on his face.

KEVIN BOMBAY: Good evening, Mainstream Wrestling fans! Welcome to ‘Deception’—our first live event in over a year! It’s incredible to see all of you here tonight, and I want to thank each and every one of you for your patience and unwavering support throughout this journey. Your commitment over the last seven years has fueled our passion and determination to bring Mainstream Wrestling back stronger than ever!

The crowd erupts with cheers, some chanting "Mainstream! Mainstream!"

KEVIN BOMBAY: I promise you, we are back, and we’re bringing along all the wrestlers you love or love to hate! Over the next several months, get ready for some thrilling events, including another installment of the Governor’s Cup tournament, the prestigious Emerald City Classic, and the Pinnacle Battle Royal to kick off 2025! And trust me, that's just the tip of the iceberg. We have many more exciting announcements and unforgettable moments lined up for you!

Kevin takes a moment, allowing the crowd's enthusiasm to swell before continuing.

KEVIN BOMBAY: And tonight, we’ve got an action-packed card for you! To kick it all off, Lex Collins will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against the relentless Cory Chevelle! Plus, AJ Knight puts his United States Championship on the line against the enigmatic Zodiac. The stakes are high for the World Television Championship as Hood Ratchet’s Cartier defends against last year’s Governor’s Cup winner, Bianca Reed!

The crowd reacts, buzzing with anticipation.

KEVIN BOMBAY: But that’s not all! We’ll see the long-awaited grudge match between Billy Danielson and Robb Daniels as they settle the score once and for all! And in a match that carries a heavy weight, Biggs is back for his final showdown against his longtime rival, Jason Cashe. This is it, folks—Biggs retires tonight, win or lose. Let’s give it up for Biggs and all he has contributed to Mainstream Wrestling!

Kevin gestures toward the crowd, who rises to their feet, applauding and chanting Biggs' name. The atmosphere is electric, filled with nostalgia and respect.

KEVIN BOMBAY: I promise you, tonight is going to be a night to remember! So sit back, enjoy the action, and let’s get this show on the road! Now, let’s send it over to our commentary team, McKayla Lewis and Charlie Hudson, who will guide you through all the excitement tonight!

As Kevin exits the ring, the camera cuts to McKayla Lewis and Charlie Hudson at the commentary desk, ready to kick off the action. They smile at the camera, matching the energy of the crowd.

MCKAYLA LEWIS: It’s great to be back! What an incredible way to start the show, Charles!

CHARLES HUDSON: Absolutely, Lou! The energy in T-Mobile Park is unmatched, and I can't wait to see what’s in store for us tonight!

They exchange a look of excitement as the screen fades to a commercial break, setting the stage for an unforgettable night of wrestling.

ECHO & ALEX: Let’s hear it for your FOREVER Mainstream tag team champions of the world!

Very loudly you could hear, Team Madness strolling down the hallway camera following behind them.

ECHO & ALEX: TEAM MADNESS!!!

Alex and Echo laughed very loud and danced around. Some of the other wrestlers peeked out of the locker rooms.

ECHO LAYNE: We’re very late to the party! Not booked. But, here we are. We’re very busy people you know! We’ve got cupcakes to bake, bikini photos to post. The  semi-retired life is precious!

ALEX MONROE: It doesn’t really surprise me that we're not booked tonight. Tag team wrestling is dead. But, hey that’s ok cause we’re gonna sit back tonight and watch the show!

They kept walking until they approached a skybox that had a bunch of snacks set up.

ECHO LAYNE: We’ve worked hard and deserve this! It’s cool, nobody wanted to set up! Now we relax, eat cupcakes and can be the FOREVER Mainstream tag team champions of the world!

Echo flopped down on the couch and put her feet up on the table. She had a cupcake in her hand and took a bite.

ALEX MONROE: Let the Madness begin!

Alex pushed the camera man out of the room as the scene ended.

The lights dim all over T-Mobile Park and attention shifts towards the stage area as a video begins playing.  It starts out showing a reel of farm land some where in the Midwest.  The film is black and white, and some what grainy.  It transitions to a scene of two hounds running along a creek, and then a shot of the same two hounds on opposite ends of a coon, pulling the coon apart.  It abruptly fades to black for only a moment. Five words fade on screen.

Another scene opens of a cherry red 1970 Chevelle SS flying down the highway.  The engine revs as it passes by and the scene fades to black once more.  Cutting to the backstage area, standing in front of a large Mainstream banner stands a mountain of a man, the challenger for the World Heavyweight championship tonight.  The fans can be heard erupting as Cory Chevelle appears on screen.  Chevelle doesn't smile, he doesn't react to the fans.  His cold blue eyes stare straight into the camera and he gives a quick wink.

“Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and all you other pie-eyed sonsabitches in attendance tonight.. My name is Cory Chevelle and I'm here to do one thing.  Clock in, fu[DJ SCRATCH] sh[DJ SCRATCH] up, and clock out.  But Chevy, that's three things! Not tonight!  It's one.  It's one because folks tonight at the end of the show there will only be one man left standing and one man walking out on his own as the world heavyweight champion!”

“And I didn't come to leave empty handed.”

Chevelle tips his cowboy hat up.

“Lex Collins!  While I understand you're excited you have a decent opponent, as you put it on twitter.. I want ya to hold on to the mat excitement son.  Just like I want ya to try and hold on to that world title because tonight I got a lesson for ya.  That lesson being…”

“Never get attached to something you can't keep.”

“Look I didn't come here to have any dream match with anybody.  This isn't another Rob Daniels verses Billy Danielson classic!  This is the main event for the world championship and you're standing across from The Hellbilly, The best of the Midwest, THE SILVERBACK, and his name is Cory Chevelle!  Decent?  Boy I'm a damn Olympic champion and I've done this a long time!  I don't just fight for gold I play for blood and tonight you better be ready because I'm gonna take every bit of her 195 pounds and I'm driving yer head into the mat!”

“Decent he says….”

“Decent I am NOT!  But I tell ya what, I don't know who the hell you had to beat to win that title but tonight if you wanna keep it you're gonna earn it, hell you best be ready to die for it because I am!  I didn't come here for a one off, I didn't come here for an easy payday.  You got something I want ya lil bastard and with every fiber of my being I intend to take it from you in the worst way.  If I can humiliate ya, I will.  If I can expose you, I will.  If I can hurt you and injure you or render you totally defenseless and unable to compete any further…”

”I will.”

“What I will not be is a notch on your belt or landmark in your career.  See I don't give a sh[DJ SCRATCH] how long you been champion.  The fact of the matter is you became champ and this place closed it's doors am I right?  So how many ass’s were you really putting in those seats Lex?  Well guess what son, tonight there's a whole lot more and it ain't because of you…”

“I'm gonna beat you like a bastard stepchild and leave you crying in the corner of the ring!  And lastly…”

Chevelle moves forward, shoving the camera guy aside and knocking the camera over before the feed cuts out.

he arena buzzed with anticipation as the lights flickered and the crowd erupted in a deafening roar. After a lengthy hiatus, Mainstream Wrestling was back, and there was no better way to kickstart this new era than with a World Heavyweight Championship match between the reigning champion Lex Collins and the formidable challenger Cory Chevelle. This was more than just a match; it was a declaration that Mainstream Wrestling had returned, and it was here to stay.

The bell rang, echoing through the arena, and the two competitors squared off in the center of the ring. Lex Collins, a powerhouse known for his striking ability, stood confidently, his muscles rippling under the bright lights. Across from him, Cory Chevelle, a technical wizard with a mean streak, eyed his opponent with a look of determination. The atmosphere was electric, and the stakes couldn’t have been higher.

As they circled each other, the crowd chanted both competitors' names, creating a palpable energy. The match began with a lock-up, Lex using his strength to push Cory into the corner. The referee called for a clean break, and Lex obliged, but not without a sly grin that hinted at his confidence. Cory quickly retaliated with a double leg takedown, taking Lex down to the mat, but Collins rolled through and quickly returned to his feet, showcasing his resilience.

The back-and-forth continued, with Lex hitting a “Mind Killer” side slam backbreaker that sent shockwaves through Cory's body. He followed up with a diving DDT, the impact reverberating through the arena. The crowd erupted, sensing that Lex was gaining momentum. But Cory wasn’t finished. With a fierce determination, he executed a German suplex, bridging for a near fall that had the audience gasping.

As the match progressed, Cory found himself in control, delivering an overhead belly-to-belly suplex that sent Lex crashing to the canvas. He then cinched in the Silverback Klutch bear hug, squeezing the air out of the champion. Lex fought desperately, showing his strength and willpower as he managed to escape, pushing Cory away before hitting him with a devastating “Wrong Way Kid” leaping DDT. The near falls were relentless as both men showed their tenacity.

The action spilled outside the ring, with Cory slamming Lex against the barricade, the sound of flesh hitting metal echoing through the arena. He followed up with a Hellbilly stomp, punishing Collins further. But the champion wasn’t done yet; he fought back, sending Cory crashing into the steel steps with a ruthless strike.

Just as it seemed the match was slipping away from Lex, the referee regained control, urging both men to return to the ring. With a fierce determination, they both rolled back inside, the crowd on its feet, fully invested in this battle.

Cory, sensing victory, prepared for his signature Bloodlust spear, charging at Lex with ferocity. But Lex sidestepped at the last moment, and Cory crashed into the turnbuckle. This was Lex's moment. He seized the opportunity, delivering a charging high knee strike in the corner followed by a running bulldog, executing his “Systematic Breakdown 2.0.” He covered Cory for the desperate pin fall as the referee counted—one, two, three!

The arena exploded as Lex Collins retained his title. He lay on the mat, breathing heavily, overwhelmed with emotion as the referee raised his arm high in victory. The World Heavyweight Championship glistened in the spotlight, a symbol of his hard-fought battle and resilience. Lex ascended the turnbuckle, soaking in the adoration of the fans, his music pumping through the speakers.

GRAHAM STEVENS:  Your winner by pin fall AND STILL Mainstream Wrestling WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION…LEX—COLLINS!

But suddenly, the atmosphere shifted as the music of a former champion, Emma Douglas, blared through the arena. The crowd erupted again, this time in a mix of excitement and surprise. Emma made her way down the aisle, her eyes locked on Lex Collins. Standing toe to toe with the champion, a tense moment passed between them, but then she turned her attention to the fallen Cory Chevelle.

CHARLES HUDSON:  With a display of raw power, Emma grabs Cory by the throat, lifting him high into the air before delivering a chokeslam!

MCKAYLA LEWIS:  The fans are going wild, cheering and chanting as Emma exits the ring in a dramatic fashion, pointing at Lex and motioning a belt around her waist.

As Lex stood victorious, he realized that the return of Mainstream Wrestling had reignited old rivalries and set the stage for new ones. The night was far from over, and the future held endless possibilities. The fans were buzzing; the excitement was palpable, and as Lex soaked in his victory, he knew this was just the beginning of a thrilling new era.

CHARLES HUDSON:  A message sent by Emma Douglas and it’s loud and clear; that she’s making her intentions known.

MCKAYLA LEWIS:  Emm Douglas is back and she wants the World Heavyweight Championship!

The scene slowly fades in on a dark room, a single light suspended from the ceiling illuminates a man sitting in a chair. He is holding an object in his hands that he seems fixated on, almost entranced by.

ZODIAC: There's been a lot of...incidents...I've been involved in that I could've avoided, or could've helped change the outcome of. Some of them I'll carry with me forever, some I couldn't care less about...but I'm gonna tell everyone what I've been saying for as long as I can coherently remember...I'm not myself anymore. I haven't been for what's been years now.

He slowly lifts the object in his hands to reveal a mask of some sort briefly as he presses it to his forehead.*l

ZODIAC: I thought if I embraced it, that maybe at some point...I would just...work it out of my system. It's not going away. I'm losing sleep. It's been so long since I've known who has been looking back at me in the mirror. I'm mentally broken, I'm spiritually broken...but I'm not physically broken. That ring has been the only thing between me and the proverbial deep end...but I've been isolated for a long time with nothing more than my thoughts.

Zodiac stands up before lifting his head.

ZODIAC: I've realized something after being left with my thoughts...there's nothing wrong with loving the violence. There's nothing wrong with drawing blood from the person across from you. There's not a single bone, not a single ligament, not one muscle that can't be damaged beyond repair...I'm trying like HELL to not be him again. That's what sticks with you. Being him...even outside the ring...

Zodiac slowly walks forward and picks up the camera.

ZODIAC: I'm trying, AJ...I am. I hope you see this, brother...please for the love of everything you hold dear...I'm literally begging you right now, do not let me become that man again...but as much as I hate it, as much as I don't want it...it's incredibly unfortunate, AJ that it had to be you. Because as it stands right now...

Zodiac looks down at the object he was holding, holding the mask up in the frame but only so Zodiac can look at it. He slowly turns the mask around before promptly putting it on, closing his eyes briefly before opening them again to reveal blood red eyes and yellow corneas. The tone of his voice changes as he slowly tilts his head to the left before he speaks.

ZODIAC: Khaos will reign supreme.

Zodiac promptly drops the camera as the screen flickers before coming back on, sitting upright as the light illuminates an empty chair where the Obsidian Championship now sits. A moment passes before a deep raspy voice explodes from the darkness.

KHAOS: RUN RABBIT RUN!

The scene immediately cuts to static as a 'Z' is seen in the center before cutting to black.

The camera fades in on a dimly lit backstage area, where AJ Knight stands alone, his United States Championship belt draped over his shoulder. He takes a deep breath, his intense gaze piercing the camera as he begins to speak.

AJ KNIGHT: Mainstream Wrestling is finally back! After a year of uncertainty, we’re here, we’re alive, and we’re ready to put on a show for the ages! For those who don’t know me, allow me to reintroduce myself. I’m Adam Jacob Lefenfeld, but you can call me AJ Knight—the man of the hour, the reigning United States Champion!

He paces back and forth, the fire in his eyes growing stronger with each word.

AJ KNIGHT: I may hail from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, a long way from this grand stage, but I’ve fought tooth and nail to get here. This title represents everything I’ve sacrificed, every drop of sweat, every bruise, and every moment of doubt. And tonight, I step into that ring to defend it against a freak show—Zodiac!

AJ's expression shifts to one of disdain as he continues, his voice dripping with contempt.

AJ KNIGHT: Zodiac, let’s get one thing straight. You think your psychotic antics intimidate me? You think your mind games can outsmart the man who’s been through hell and back? You’re nothing but a circus act, trying to put on a show for the fans. But let me tell you something, buddy—this isn’t a game! This is my life, my legacy, and I will not let you take that away from me!

He steps closer to the camera, his intensity radiating through the screen.

AJ KNIGHT: When that bell rings, it’s a light switch for me. And you know what flips it? The moment ‘Until the End’ by Breaking Benjamin hits the speakers. The adrenaline surges through my veins, and I transform into a force of nature! I’m not just defending this championship; I’m proving to the world that AJ Knight is a name that deserves to be etched in history!

AJ clenches his fist, the determination evident in his voice.

AJ KNIGHT: I’m not just fighting for myself—I’m fighting for every person in the back who dreams of being a champion, for every fan who’s ever believed in me, and for everyone who’s ever felt like they didn’t belong. Tonight, Zodiac, you may think you’re a nightmare, but I’m the reality check you never saw coming! I will walk out of that ring as the United States Champion, and you’ll be left in the dust, wondering what went wrong!

He takes a step back, his eyes burning with passion.

AJ KNIGHT: So bring your freak show, Zodiac! Bring your chaos, your mind games, and your tricks! Because when that bell rings, it’s just you and me—and I’m going to show you why AJ Knight is the champion, and you’re just a moment in my story!

With a final fierce glare into the camera, AJ takes a deep breath, his confidence unwavering, as the screen fades to black.

As the bell rang, Zodiac wasted no time asserting his control, charging at Knight and nailing him with a vicious shoulder block that sent AJ crashing to the mat. The crowd gasped as Zodiac followed up with a series of brutal stomps, each one echoing throughout the arena. Knight, however, was known for his heart, and after absorbing a few punishing blows, he rolled away and sprang to his feet, ready to fight back.

AJ launched into a flurry of offense, hitting Zodiac with a perfectly timed dropkick that staggered the larger man. Sensing momentum shifting, Knight seized the opportunity and executed a swinging neck breaker, the impact reverberating through the ring. He quickly went for a pinfall attempt, but Zodiac kicked out at two, showcasing his own resiliency.

Undeterred, AJ transitioned into an armwringer, twisting Zodiac's arm and applying pressure. But Zodiac's strength was evident as he powered out of the hold, countering with a snap suplex that left AJ gasping for air. Zodiac followed up with his signature move, the Crimson Sunrise, driving Knight’s neck onto his knee with a sickening thud. The referee slid in for the count, but Knight managed to get his shoulder up just in time, eliciting a roar of support from the crowd.

Zodiac, clearly frustrated but relentless, locked AJ in a front facelock, squeezing the life out of him. AJ struggled but found a way to escape, executing a jaw-dropping Inverted DDT that left both men sprawled on the canvas. The arena erupted as Knight crawled toward Zodiac, desperately hooking the leg for another pinfall attempt. But again, Zodiac kicked out, refusing to be put away so easily.

As the match wore on, AJ showed incredible resilience, countering Zodiac’s moves with a series of superkicks that connected cleanly, each one sending shockwaves through the crowd. AJ attempted a flash pin after one of the kicks, but Zodiac rolled out, still showing signs of life. The tension in the arena mounted with each near fall, both men pushing their limits.

Zodiac, however, was not done. He caught AJ off guard with The Void, transitioning from a backstabber into a dragon sleeper with body scissors. The crowd gasped, sensing the end might be near. AJ’s face twisted in pain, but the fire in his eyes remained. With a burst of adrenaline, he managed to reach the ropes, forcing the break just before the referee could call for the submission.

Both men slowly rose to their feet, visibly worn but unwilling to give in. AJ Knight, tapping into the last reserves of his strength, unleashed a flurry of strikes, culminating in another superkick that caught Zodiac flush. The impact sent Zodiac staggering back, but he managed to stay upright, demonstrating his own resilience. AJ seized the moment, attempting a Fujiwara armbar, but Zodiac twisted out of it and lifted AJ for a scoop slam, dropping him with authority.

The crowd was on its feet, the back-and-forth action leaving everyone breathless. AJ, refusing to back down, hit another swinging neck breaker, followed by a desperate pin attempt. One… two… Zodiac kicked out again! The frustration was evident on AJ's face, but he quickly regained composure, knowing he had to dig deeper.

In a final act of determination, AJ climbed to the top rope, signaling to the crowd as they cheered him on. He launched himself into the air for a high-risk maneuver, but Zodiac caught him mid-air, transitioning into Dead Silence BUT NO! Knight turns him around, kicks him in the stomach doubling him over—KNIGHTFALL! He hooks the leg for the 1…2…3!

GRAHAM STEVENS:  Your winner by pin fall AND STILL United States Champion…AJ—KNIGHT!

CHARLES HUDSON:  My money was on Zodiac to win this match but AJ Knight pulls it out!

MCKAYLA LEWIS:  AJ Knight retains in a hard fought match!

AJ Knight stands victorious, and the crowd erupts in applause, Knight’s resiliency and heart were on full display. As he celebrates his hard-fought victory, Zodiac lays on the mat, exhausted but disappointed, knowing he had given everything in this battle.

CHARLES HUDSON:  Zodiac looks troubled tonight Lou! What do you think?

MCKAYLA LEWIS:  It’s hard to say honestly but AJ Knight retains! When we return Samantha will have a special guest!

And the atmosphere is electric as the camera zooms in on Samantha Kinsley, standing by with a microphone in hand. Behind her, the bustling activity of crew members preparing for the upcoming match creates a palpable tension. As the camera focuses, ROBB DANIELS steps into the frame, clad in his wrestling gear, a confident smirk plastered across his face.]**

SAMANTHA KINSLEY: Robb, thank you for joining me. You’re about to head to the ring to face off against your bitter rival, Billy Danielson. This is a match that has been brewing for years. Can you tell us what lies at the heart of this animosity?

ROBB DANIELS: [Chuckles, shaking his head] Samantha, let’s be real here. This isn’t just a simple rivalry; this is a war. Billy Danielson has built a reputation for himself, sure, but it’s a reputation that I helped shape. He might have been here since Day One, but I’m the one who brought the true competition to Mainstream Wrestling.

SAMANTHA KINSLEY: But you have to acknowledge that Billy is a former World Champion and one of the top draws in the company’s history. Many would say he has a legacy that’s hard to undermine.

ROBB DANIELS: [Leaning in, his tone intensifying] Legacy? What does that even mean? Yeah, he’s a former World Champion, and he’s had his moments, but let’s remember who the real star is here. I’m a thirteen-time World Champion, Samantha! I’ve held titles all over the globe, in promotions that people only dream of stepping into. Billy might be a big fish in a small pond, but I’m the shark that swims in the ocean.

SAMANTHA KINSLEY: [Nods, trying to maintain composure] But don’t you think that the fans have a soft spot for Billy? He embodies the history of this company. What do you think they’ll feel seeing you step into the ring against a man who has been a cornerstone of Mainstream Wrestling?

ROBB DANIELS: [Waves his hand dismissively] Soft spot? That’s cute. But in this business, being sentimental doesn’t win you matches. It doesn’t make you a champion. The fans might cheer for him, but deep down, they know who the real draw is. They want to see me, the man who brings the prestige and excitement to this sport. When the dust settles tonight, they’ll understand that the past is just that—the past.

SAMANTHA KINSLEY: [Raises an eyebrow] So you’re saying you’re ready to put an end to this feud once and for all? What does victory look like for you tonight?

ROBB DANIELS: [Grinning confidently] Victory? It’s simple. I’m taking Billy down, and I’m doing it in style. I’m not just looking for a win; I’m looking to make a statement. Robb takes a step closer to the camera, his expression turning serious and intense.

ROBB DANIELS: So listen up, Billy Danielson. Tonight, it ends. This feud, this drama—it’s all over. You’re done living in my shadow. The fans are over with watching this back-and-forth. I’m moving on with my life, and after I take you down, you’ll be nothing more than a footnote in my story.

He straightens his jacket, flashes another confident smile, and points directly into the camera.

ROBB DANIELS: To the fans, the talent in the back, and most importantly, to you, Billy—tonight, I take back my narrative. Get ready for the beating of a lifetime because I’m about to remind everyone why Robb Daniels is the only name that truly ever mattered in this business.

With that, Robb struts away, the camera lingering on Samantha as she looks on with a mix of intrigue and anticipation.

SAMANTHA KINSLEY: There you have it, folks. Robb Daniels is ready to make a statement tonight. Back to you at ringside!

The camera fades as we hear the crowd roaring in the background.

The camera zooms in on Billy Danielson, who stands in front of a monitor, just finishing watching the fiery interview with Robb Daniels. The frustration is clear on his face, but there’s also a spark of determination.

BILLY DANIELSON: [Taking a deep breath, his voice steady but filled with intensity] So that’s what Robb Daniels is saying, huh? The guy who talks a big game but forgets the history we share. Billy fights back, responding with a series of knife-edge chops that echo throughout the arena. He lands a quick DDT, but Robb rolls out of the ring to regroup. Billy isn’t having it; he catapults Robb back into the ring from the apron, catching him off guard. Billy follows with a spear, but Robb sidesteps at the last second, sending Billy crashing into the turnbuckle.

Robb seizes the moment, hitting a German suplex that sends shockwaves through the crowd. He goes for another pin for 1…2…Billy kicks out with authority! Frustrated, Robb resorts to grabbing the ropes for leverage during a submission attempt and using his foot to choke Billy against the bottom rope. The referee admonishes him, but Robb simply smiles—a clear sign he’s willing to bend the rules.

As the match progresses, both men deliver brutal moves back and forth. Billy lands his patented “Chicago Blackout” knee strike, stunning Robb momentarily. He follows with a roundhouse kick and an explorer suplex. The crowd is on fire as Billy continues to build momentum, hitting a power bomb that shakes the ring.

The crowd erupts as Billy follows up with his finishing move, the “Franchise,” an inverted crucifix bomb! He hooks both legs for 1…2…3!

The referee calls for the bell, and the crowd erupts for Danielson’s victory. Just as the three count is completed, Robb kicks out, but it’s too late. The referee raises Billy’s hand in victory, but Robb, enraged by the loss, springs to his feet.

Immediately after the match, Robb Daniels goes berserk, unleashing a flurry of punches on the unsuspecting Billy Danielson. The crowd gasps as Robb viciously attacks Billy, clearly no-selling the finish. Security rushes to the ring, and other members of the Mainstream roster quickly join in, trying to pull Robb off of Billy.

CHARLES HUDSON:  Robb shoves security away, continuing his assault until he finally breaks free.

MCKAYLA LEWIS:  The chaos reaches its peak as the crowd boos and cheers in equal measure, witnessing the intensity of a rivalry that refuses to end.

The camera fades out as Robb stands tall, seething with anger, while Billy lies on the mat.

Cartier shakes off the early offense and hits a powerful “Staten Island Slam,” slamming Bianca to the mat. She goes for the cover for 1…2…Bianca barely gets her shoulder up! Cartier, now in control, follows up with the “Eat This Ass”, knocking Bianca into the corner. The champion feels the momentum building as she prepares for a high-risk maneuver.

Cartier climbs to the top rope and executes a stunning “Supa Dupa Fly Splash,” but Bianca rolls out of the way at the last second! Both women are down, and the referee starts the count. The crowd rallies behind both competitors, clapping and chanting.

Cartier and Bianca struggle to their feet, exchanging blows in the center of the ring. Bianca gains the upper hand with a series of quick strikes, followed by another “Reed ‘Em & Weep.” She goes for the cover again for 1…2…Cartier kicks out!

Frustrated but fueled by the crowd's energy, Bianca pulls Cartier up for a “Cracker Jacker,” but Cartier counters, flipping Bianca into the air and landing a devastating “Got-DAMN Slam.” She hooks the leg for 1…2…Bianca kicks out!

The intensity rises as both women refuse to stay down. Cartier attempts another “Sizzurp Kick,” but Bianca catches her leg and counters with a spinning kick of her own. Bianca is feeling the momentum and goes for a springboard maneuver, but Cartier catches her mid-air with a brutal “Staten Island Slam.” The crowd is on their feet as Cartier goes for the pin again for the 1…2…Bianca kicks out!

Both women are visibly exhausted but refuse to give up. Cartier signals for her finisher, the “Empire State of Mind.” She lifts Bianca into the air, looking to slam her down for the victory. However, in a stunning turn of events, Bianca counters with her “Plan B,” launching into a breathtaking springboard Spanish fly! The crowd erupts in cheers as both women crash to the mat. Bianca is the first to recover, crawling over Cartier and hooking the leg for the 1…2…3!

The referee calls for the bell, and the crowd goes wild. Bianca Reed has done it; she has defeated Cartier and is the new World Television Champion!

CHARLES HUDSON:  She’s done it! Bianca Reed won the Governors Cup before Mainstream went on a lengthy hiatus but after all this time she returns in the best shape of her career to defeat her longtime ally and become the new World Television Champion!

MCKAYLA LEWIS:  This is monumental for Bianca Reed her first singles championship in Mainstream Wrestling. And what better what to kick off the new era than with a new champion!

As Bianca stands tall, holding the championship belt high, Cartier rolls out of the ring, visibly frustrated but acknowledging Bianca's talent with a nod of respect. The arena is electric, celebrating the new champion as Bianca basks in her hard-fought victory.

CHARLES HUDSON:  Cartier is a first ballot hall of famer but she’s not going away any time soon with out a fight.

MCKAYLA LEWIS:  Congratulations to Bianca Reed the new World Television Champion!

Mainstream Wrestling cuts back to Biggs’ dressing room, where Biggs is sitting criss-cross applesauce at a coffee table, wearing a woman’s sun hat and a pink heart shaped apron over his wrestling gear, while his 3 year old daughter, Mei-Ling, is clad in a pink sparkly princess dress and a silver tiara. Bobby Larson is also seated at the table, with a pink clip-on bow on the side of his head, while Biggs’ wife Chelsea rounds out the table, wearing a silly little top hat and bow-tie. There’s a toy tea-set on the table, and Mei-Ling is “pouring tea,” happily talking in a sing-song voice as she does so.

MEI-LING: A cup for Mommy, a cup for Daddy, and a cup for Unca Bobby! Unca Bobby, yours has extra sugar.

BOBBY LARSON: Why thank you, Mei-Ling, it’s delicious!

CHELSEA: Thank you sweetie.

BIGGS: Mei-Ling, my dear, the tea is top notch as always! May I have some more?

Biggs holds his cup towards his daughter, but she purses her lips and scrunches her brow.

MEI-LING: No, Daddy! You didn’t say please!

BIGGS: You’re right, how rude of me. May I please have some more tea?

MEI-LING: No, all gone.

BIGGS: All gone? ALL GONE!? Well that just makes me upset!

Biggs begins to fake cry, hamming it up with exaggerated sobs. Mei-Ling gets a concerned look on her face, and rushes to hug her dad, hitting him with such force that he’s knocked slightly off balance.

MEI-LING: Don’t cry, Daddy. Unca Bobby, make more tea!

Bobby scrambles to “make more tea,” as Biggs wraps an arm around his daughter.

BIGGS: Nah, it’s alright, sweetie. I got something better than tea, I got my little cuddle-bug! But I feel something coming over me.

Biggs starts to contort his face and twitches a bit.

BIGGS: Mei-Ling, save yourself, I’m becoming a monster! A tickle monster!

Mei-Ling’s laughter fills the room as Biggs tickles her tummy. She’s kicking her feet and giggling up a storm, gasping between laughs as she tries to get help.

MEI-LING: Hahahaha… Mommy!... Hahaha… Help me!

At this point, Chelsea darts over and begins to tickle Biggs, causing him to break out laughing. He stops tickling Mei-Ling long enough for her to turn the tables on her dad, joining in tickling him as well.

MEI-LING: Unca Bobby, help us!

Bobby gets up from the table and joins the tickle torture on Biggs, who is laughing and gasping for air as his family gangs up on him. Tears are rolling down his cheeks as there’s a knock at the door. Everyone tries to compose themselves, save for Mei-Ling, who is still tickling her father. Biggs giggles as he gets to his feet and scoops up his daughter.

BIGGS: Come in…

Samantha Kinsley enters the room with a mic in hand. She holds back a chuckle seeing Biggs dressed the way he is, and for his part, Bobby doesn’t even attempt to flirt, knowing he looks ridiculous too.

SAMANTHA KINSLEY: I’m sorry if I interrupted you…

BIGGS: It’s not a problem at all, Ms. Kinsley.

Mei-Ling interrupts.

MEI-LING: Hi Ms. Kinsley.

SAMANTHA KINSLEY: Hi Mei-Ling. I’m going to ask your daddy a few questions, but before I do, can I ask you how you’re doing today?

MEI-LING: Good. I get to see Daddy westle today!

BIGGS: The last time I wrestled, you were here, but you probably don’t remember, do you sweetie?

MEI-LING: Nope…

SAMANTHA KINSLEY: I bet you’re really excited, aren’t you?

MEI-LING: Yep.

SAMANTHA KINSLEY: Biggs, tonight you wrestle your final match against your former friend and long-time rival Jason Cashe. What is going through your mind as you prepare to walk down the aisle and step into that ring for one last time?

Biggs breathes in deep, bouncing Mei-Ling in his arms a bit before responding.

BIGGS: Tonight, I am looking to get closure. Tonight, I look towards redemption. The last time I was in a Mainstream ring, I dropped the World Heavyweight Championship to Lex Collins after getting knocked out. No excuses, Lex kicked my butt that night, and he earned the Mainstream Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship. I didn’t want the last image of my career to be me knocked out, in the center of the ring. I was ashamed. I was embarrassed. And I didn’t want to show my face in public for quite some time. But in these past 13 months, the blow has softened. As much as I cared about my image in wrestling, as much as I cared about my lasting legacy, I have found something much more important, and it’s this little girl in my arms right now. For all my accolades and accomplishments in the ring, not just here in Mainstream Wrestling, but my entire career, nothing compares to the honor and privilege of being Mei-Ling’s dad. I’m going to be honest, when I saw the press release for this show on Twitter, I wasn’t going to accept the invitation. Initially, I was just going to tell Bombay that I’d be willing to make an appearance, smile and wave, that kind of thing, y’know, keep it low key. But two things changed that.

First, Bobby and I had a training session getting him ready for a match on August 10th. Chelsea was at work, and both our parents were out of town, so Bobby and I set up a playpen in the gym for Mei-Ling while we trained. At first, she just played with her toys while we ran through our drills, but when we started sparring, her little eyes lit up. She was absolutely entranced. I only noticed because she had gotten quiet, and if there’s one thing that’ll get your attention, it’s a quiet toddler.

MEI-LING: I’m not a toddler, I’m three!

BIGGS: That you are, sweet heart. I realized at that moment, I had an opportunity to share a part of my life with my child, to truly share it. She’s too young to remember my last match. She doesn’t care that I lost the championship. All that she cares about is that I am her dad, and I am a darn good wrestler!

Mei-Ling raises her arms up.

MEI-LING: Daddy wins!

BIGGS: We’ll find out sweetie. The fact is, I have found peace being able to be a stay-at-home dad. And I have my wrestling career to thank for that. So tonight, it’s all for Mei-Ling. She gets to actually see her dad wrestle, and I know however excited I am for tonight, she’s even more excited. I love you, my little cuddle bug!

Biggs gives his daughter a kiss on the forehead before continuing to speak.

BIGGS: The second reason I accepted a match here tonight was because of whom Kevin Bombay was able to line up as my opponent, Jason Cashe. Jason and I go back well over 15 years, and had I stayed retired, we’d probably still be on good terms today. Without Jason Cashe, I would have never made my way to Mainstream Wrestling. So I have to say thank you to him for getting my foot in the door. But I will not give him credit for what I was able to accomplish in the second act of my career, which by all means should have never happened! I retired in 2011 due to multiple concussions. A man with my injury history is not supposed to be so good in his late thirties! From winning the United States Championship and going on an all-time great run with it, to winning the Emerald City Classic, to becoming the Mainstream Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, bad ending or not, you cannot talk about the history of Mainstream Wrestling and skip over me! But you also can’t go over my history in Mainstream Wrestling and skip over Jason Cashe either.

“It’s a real shame that things shook out the way that they did between us. He made mistakes, I made mistakes, and both of us are too stubborn and pig-headed to admit we were wrong. I’m not going to stand here and rehash everything that happened between us. Even the ridiculous stunt you pulled at the press conference a few weeks back, that’s in the past. What’s done is done. I have chosen to forgive you, because despite all the drama, despite all the pain you have caused me and my family, I miss being your friend. I miss all the wild and crazy times on the road, I miss all the good natured pranks, all the ridiculous jokes, and I miss the brotherhood. There’s very few people in this business that have stuck by me like you once did, Jason, and I like you much better as a friend than as an enemy. I just hope that tonight, win, lose, or draw, Jason, that I can regain your respect. I know it’s probably too much to ask for your trust back. We burnt that bridge long ago. As much as I’d love to be your friend again, I completely understand why you would not accept my friendship. I am a flawed man, and all I can hope for is that I am a better man today than I was yesterday. I have to be, not just for my sake, but for the sake of Mei-Ling. In a perfect world, you’d be her Uncle Jason…”

BIGGS: But we don’t live in a perfect world. Chelsea, could you please take her?

Biggs hands Mei-Ling off to his wife, and though Mei-Ling is clingy at first, she does go with her mother.

BIGGS: Jason, I know that if you’re watching this, you’re probably thinking one of two things, either I’ve gone soft, or that I am trying to emotionally manipulate you. Neither one could be further from the truth. Tonight, it’s going to be me and you in that ring, no shenanigans, no bull. It’s going to be my skill versus your skill. I know that you’ve kept active. I’m coming off of a long layoff. But you also know that there is nobody in this business who is better at preparing for a big-time match than yours truly! Jason, I’m going to give you my absolute best tonight, and I expect your absolute best as well. I know you gave me lip service at the press conference about wanting to cripple me, about wanting to hurt me so badly that I wouldn’t even be able to recognize my own daughter. I am choosing to believe that those were just words, and that the Jason Cashe I once knew is still there, that deep inside, you’re not the heartless bastard you’re trying to make yourself out to be. And I’m hoping, probably beyond hope, that by the end of the match, whatever way it goes, I will earn a handshake from you. That’s what I want to be the lasting legacy of my career, that I could somehow reconcile with the man who at one time was closer than a brother…

Biggs is overwhelmed with emotion by this point, a tear running down his cheek. He’s trying to compose himself, but is struggling to do so. Chelsea and Mei-Ling come in to hug him.

SAMANTHA KINSLEY: Thank you for your time, Biggs.

Samantha gives Biggs a pat on the shoulder and makes her way out as the screen fades to black and transitions back to the announce table.

CHARLES HUDSON: Powerful words there at the end from Biggs. Fatherhood has clearly changed him.

MCKAYLA LEWIS: But tonight, it won’t be about fatherhood, it will be about settling the score between Biggs and Jason Cashe. No doubt, it’s going to be an emotional match for both parties.

Despite the intense match he just endured, he radiates a sense of accomplishment and pride.

LEX COLLINS: Wow… what a night! After what feels like an eternity, I finally got to defend my World Heavyweight Championship!
