"Ready or Not Here I Come
I'm Gonna Fiiinnnnd You
And Take it Slowly
Ready or Not
Here I Come
I'm Gonna Fiiiinnnd You
And Make You Want Me"
As Wyclef Jean rolls in with the opening verse on the song, Jason Cashe comes out from behind the curtain. Staring down at the metal floor beneath his feet as he stops at the edge of the stage. He looks up and around at the calmness of the Tokyo fans. He drops his head back and howls before barking twice and throwing himself forward as he heads to the ring.
JAPANESE RING ANNOUNCER: Hyūsuton kara jōjia-shū dikētā keiyu de tehasu.. Karera ga DiOGee to yobu hontōni komatta hito.. JSun Yen!!
He gets to ringside dressed to compete even though he wasn't booked on this show. Around his waist sat the UWL United States Tag Title and gripped in his hand was a paper bag. Climbing the steel stairs, he steps along the apron before ducking down and entering the ring. There he takes the microphone from the Ring Announcer.
JSUN YEN: Wait, wait.. Don't go anywhere, I'ma need you to translate. I barely speak my native tongue.
Nudging his head for the Ring Announcer to stand nearby, Cashe paces around the center of the ring.
JSUN YEN: I was sitting around back in the States thinking if I should even make the trip over here. I'm not booked. I don't have anyone to give my attention to at the moment so what would be the point? Then it hit me. The point was that you people LOVE me here in Japan!
Because most of the fans in attendance don't understand English, there wasn't a reaction to his claim. He smiled at the silence as if they were ignoring him altogether.
JSUN YEN: So I decided to make the trip and come down to the ring and do something a bit different. You've seen jackasses in the past hold open challenges, often when they want to pad their win/loss records or add to their title defenses. So I won't ask for anyone to come out here because that could take all night!
Holding the paper bag up in the air, he gets a few claps and cheers but it was more of an applause like you'd get at a Play on Broadway than a Wrestling Event.
JSUN YEN: Inside this bag is every name of everyone who works for Mainstream Wrestling. The roster, the staff members, and even those on the guest list. The plus one's and two's that people may have brought with them for the show. Everyone is in this bag and tonight… Right here in Tokyo Japan!
Nothing. Not even the most classic way for a cheap pop could ignite the crowd. They preferred action to talking which is something he liked about them. He was getting to that.
JSUN YEN: So I am going to randomly draw a name and whoever that is.. I don't care if they have already fought, are next up or are scheduled for the Main Event.. If I draw their name, I will leave this ring and find them. I will find them and tonight we will have ourselves an unsanctioned backstage brawl! Who will it be?
Opening the paper bag, Cashe sticks his hand in and mixes it all around. His tongue pokes out at the side of his mouth as he digs around for the one that feels right. Finding it, he pulls his hand free and lets the bag drop to the ring.
JSUN YEN: Let's see… Ahh haaa! That's a good one!
Crumbling the small piece of paper, he shoves it into his mouth and chews on it as he turns and nods to the ring announcer who was still standing by.
JSUN YEN: Translate all that to them.. Thanks!
Cashe hands over the microphone and pumps a fist into the air as he exits the ring.
MCKAYLA LEWIS: Ladies and Gentlemen please let me apologize for Jason Cashe as you know his antics are most always controversial and make absolutely no sense.
CHARLES HUDSON: I don’t get it Lou. He didn’t reveal the name drawn, and now he just leaves…I’m so confused…
MCKAYLA LEWIS: You’re not the only one. Can you imagine the native ring announcer is confused because mainly because he does’t even speak English! He has no idea what Cashe just said.
CHARLES HUDSON: What we do know is Cashe is going to the back to find the lucky or unlucky name that he drew from the bag…
MCKAYLA LEWIS: Ladies and Gentlemen watching from home and all over the world as a matter of fact tonight’s our first international show since before the pandemic! We’re glad to be back out on the road and tonight’s show will surely be jam packed with entertaining Mainstream Wrestling!
