1.ORIGINAL CHARACTERS: We only accepts original characters. Of course you can use a real theme song of your favorite band. You can even use the pic base of your favorite musician or athlete but for example. You cannot signup with a pic base of the Undertaker with the same gimmick and be called the Funeral Director. Be creative.
2. Any issues YOU may have with Emerald City Squires or Mainstream Wrestling should be discussed with Robb Daniels (@mainstreamiow) via Personal Message on the board or Direct Message on Twitter.
3. Storylines and Match results are determined by contributions in match sequences, storylines, effort and ability to work with others over time.
4. Championship opportunities are awarded to those who have earned them based on Rule #3.
5. ACTIVITY: In order to be considered “active” you must submit match sequences and segments while frequently promoting yourself, your match and the upcoming show on Twitter.
6. TWITTER BEHAVIORS: Be respectful to one another. When Tweeting about your match at a Mainstream Wrestling event please tag @/V\AINSTREAM in the post so we can ‘promote’ you by way of a ‘Like’ and ‘Retweet’. Please be mindful of your opponent. Build up your opponent so when you do defeat then it MEANS MORE. Just because you tweet often and bury your opponent does not mean you win in my eyes.
7. A handler may use only one character at a time in Mainstream Wrestling this does not including tag teams, managers or side characters unless you are given permission.
8. PIC BASE, THEME MUSIC & FINISHING MOVE: Please review the taken pic base and entrance music lists before applying to avoid selecting a base or theme that is already taken. Two characters can use the same finisher but they must be referred to with a different but original name and be performed in a different approach.
9. SEGMENTS: I will take segments all the way up until the posting of the show and I would love to post this show around Midnight Saturday/Sunday Morning after next.
10. SEQUENCES: Offensive Match Sequences are the setup and execution of your characters signature or finishing move. You are required to submit three to five sequences and they can be as detailed as you want them to be. You are more than welcome to submit a potential winning sequence or more than five sequences. We will do our very best to use each of them during the production of your match.
FOR EXAMPLE:
OPPONENT is stalking Robb Daniels from behind waiting on him to make it to his feet. Daniels pushes up off one knee and turns ducking a clothesline by OPPONENT but then Daniels kicks him in the stomach doubling him over, he sizes him up then drops him with a Picture Perfect Stunner and makes the cover for 1...2...3!
You’ll offer one that’s like this:
The bell rings and it’s OPPONENT and Robb Daniels who meet in the center of the ring for a handshake followed by a tight collar and elbow tie up. Daniels backs OPPONENT into the corner but as he goes for a clothesline OPPONENT ducks, comes under and nails him with a German Suplex for 1...2...KICKOUT!
SEQUENCES FOR TAG TEAM MATCHES
Here’s the difference for when you are in a tag team match. In this case what you would do is write two offensive match sequences against OPPONENT 1 and two offensive match sequences against OPPONENT 2.
Don’t worry about writing tags, double team moves or anything of that nature as I will take care of that when I piece the match together.
Together on a tag team match you’ll need 4 total sequences which is two per opponent.
