JASON CASHE: There are Questions and Answers to every twist and turn that life and this business provides. At times you can answer the questions yourself and sometimes the questions only present more questions. So I get confused sometimes you see? My head space isn't the most useful tool in my work bench."
Tapping the side of his head with an open palm. Jason Cashe didn't seem to be in a good place. Sweating but he wasn't working out, he wasn't fighting or having sex. He was just worked up. Not angry but frustrated. Trying to find the right words, he didn't want to wildly talk. He wanted his words to matter so he was applying a filter to every thought in his head.
JASON CASHE: Now, I know that Bombay doesn't like me and since I turned down his attempt to turn me into a corporate puppet, he has wanted to see my reign as Champion end. So I ask.. What has really changed since he took office? We still have quote, unquote shit booking. I mean take the King of the Mountain as the ONLY example I need to make. Quick question. Why book a new albeit borrowed match concept a few weeks before the Anniversary Show?
Shrugging, Cashe had no answer.
JASON CASHE: "Better question. How many Qualifiers took place leading up to that match? How many members of this roster that bust their asses got a chance to be apart of that match?
Holding up a Zero with a hang sign, Cashe has a questioning look on his face.
JASON CASHE: None. Not a single name outside of those who are already established. There wasn't an opportunity but rather a deck stacked against a Champion that someone wanted to see a change in. Which didn't work by the way, I won that. Why weren't there qualifiers though? I mean we have all seen how often a newly signed name is thrown into a Title match right away. When was the last time a noob to the roster even WON one of those matches? So why weren't names like Emma Douglas, Chris Madison, Bryan Ford, one of the many names on the thriving Tag Division given an opportunity?
"You had Hammerstein who didn't need an opportunity because he had one waiting for him at the Anniversary Show. What if he had won? How about Billy? I couldn't get him one on one even though it was ME who was fighting The Franchise and taking beatings by his lead. Yet he is directed more towards a newcomer who hasn't been in a ring for years upon years. Billy was green lighted to create a Build A Bear Championship so why not give him a random spot in that match? Maybe I should be surprised that the match didn't just consist of Franchise members!"
"So after the grueling yet pointless King of the Mountain, I finally get a one on one with one of the "made men" in Hammerstein. I had him lined up in sights, aimed and loaded for execution and what happens? Making friends, purchased or otherwise once again proves that in this business, it is all just temporary. My reign, my friendships, and now my patience because the bitterness of a bitch named Biggs has now gained my attention.."
As if the name along gave him an itch, Cashe scratches alongside his bearded face.
JASON CASHE: I don't need titles or staff's attention. I don't need opportunities handed to me because right now? I have Biggs in my mind. I have redemption, revenge and regret he will feel for the actions he has made. Mainstream.. Gordon Bombay.. I don't care about your plans, I don't care who's ass you want to play puppets with.. I just want to fight and take out some frustrations while enjoying the job that I get to be paid for. Now get these cameras out of my face.
The camera begins to follow him. Cashe stops, turns and grabs the camera from the man holding it. Cashe slams it into the ground, the view point was filming down the hallway, seeing things at a weird angle as Cashe begins stomping the downed camera.
JASON CASHE: Send me a bill...
CHARLES HUDSON: Jason Cashe has had a hell of a last couple weeks.
MCKAYLA LEWIS: Biggs turned his back on Jason Cashe! He made a choice. He’s a hypocrite—it cost Cashe the World Heavyweight Championship and a friendship!
