MAINSTREAM WRESTLING 55
FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY

MAINSTREAM WRESTLING IS LIVE FROM SEATTLE, WASHINGTON AND WE’RE INSIDE T-MOBILE PARK! HOME OF THE SEATTLE MARINERS!
MCKAYLA LEWIS: Ladies and Gentlemen! Thank you for tuning in for tonight’s historic MAINSTREAM Fifty Five! Our Fourth Year Anniversary of Mainstream Wrestling!
CHARLES HUDSON: We’re broadcasting tonight from T-Mobile Park the Home of the Seattle Mariners and for the first time since March we have fans in attendance! We are at fifty percent capacity, we’re social distancing and wearing our masks. Everyone has been checked for a fever and received rapid testing results for the COVID-19 virus and we are ready for a jam packed night of professional wrestling!
MCKAYLA LEWIS: You’re absolutely right Charles! Tonight every championship is on the line. As you can see above the ring is a steel cage and underneath the ring are several ladders. We have some young upstarts on the card, tenured veterans and even the CEO of the Company. So we’re going to kick tonight off with Samantha Kinsley who is standing by with Kevin Bombay!
BACKSTAGE...
SAMANTHA KINSLEY: Please
Welcome my guest at this time...Kevin Bombay!
The camera angle slightly turns revealing Bombay moving a bit closer to Kinsley.
SAMANTHA KINSLEY: Four years ago we were just up the road at the old Key Arena making history with Inception. Seattle Pro Wrestling was under new management with a new direction and much higher budget. What are your thoughts on the growth of Mainstream Wrestling and the future for the company?
KEVIN BOMBAY: Every time the men and women of the Mainstream Wrestling roster walk down the aisle, step in the ring and fight they are making history. There are no throw away or meaningless matches in Mainstream. This company is known for the once in a lifetime matchups and hard hitting action that you have come to know, love and expect!
“I am proud of the men and women who fight so hard to entertain our fans. There is no other wrestling promotion out there that does what we do and at the level that we do it...”
Samantha begins to speak but Bombay feverishly continues.
KEVIN BOMBAY: I don’t mean to interrupt you Samantha but there is just a rush of emotion coming over me as I talk about what has happened and what will happen here tonight. Cant you feel it? The hairs on the back of my arms standing up just thinking about it.
“In 2016 there was an INCEPTION and it’s where it all began. A man, a legend in this business Robb Daniels bought the rights to a local wrestling promotion’s company name and a couple of season wrestling rings. He took it from the Saturday night dime a dozen high school fund raising gymnasium program to a nationwide touring promotion. He took what he knew from personal experience and created what you see today. I might be making the matches today in present time but I can’t take all the credit. Mainstream Wrestling is the most viewed and highest rated program on the Battleground Network and that is one thing that COVID-19 can’t touch!”
SAMANTHA KINSLEY: From Seattle Pro Wrestling to a touring brand known as Mainstream Wrestling in the Fall of 2019 and all of this year. The growth has been exponential but I must ask what is the direction? Where do we go after tonight? What’s in store for 2021?
KEVIN BOMBAY: That’s a good question Samantha. Our goal is to be a touring brand but our home will always be in Seattle. You cannot forget the state of the art facility that Natural Innovations acquired, renovated and reopened with the main purpose of a training facility for Emerald City Squires. Blake Mitchell, Aria Price and a host of several guest coaches are doing major work building the future of not just Mainstream Wrestling but training students to succeed in this business wherever they choose to go. The Mainstream Wrestling Studio has hosted Mainstream Wrestling since late March when the pandemic began. We will continue to operate Mainstream inside the studio until it is safe to travel or we can secure venues large enough to comply with CDC regulations.
“As for next year...we all have to remain focused. We have to wear our masks while trying to maintain as much of our normal everyday lives as we can to keep our sanity. We’ve never faced such a feat as we have with this pandemic but I’m certain we will overcome. On December 23rd of 2016 there was an Inception for Seattle Pro Wrestling. An open house one might say—so it’s fine for #INCEPTION2 and we will ring in a new year with our long and winding road to our Fifth Year Anniversary this time next year!”
“There will be a Pinnacle Battle Royal in January and our fifth annual Emerald City Classic next summer! Talent will come and go. Championships will probably change hands but you can count on one thing...there will always be More Mainstream Wrestling! Thank you all for coming tonight. I hope you have an awesome time!”
Bombay exits the frame.
SAMANTHA KINSLEY: It sounds like we have plenty to look forward to going into a New Year! Let’s go back to ringside with Charles Hudson and McKayla Lewis!
CHARLES HUDSON: I don’t know about you Lou but I’m excited for tonight; I’m excited for the coming New Year!
MCKAYLA LEWIS: Kevin Bombay always has the right things to say at just the ring time doesn’t he? Regardless, we’re excited we have fans here in attendance tonight! Thank you all for tuning in and I know that when we return from this commercial break we’re going to check in with the World Heavyweight Champion Jason Cashe!
