SAP ARENA - SILICON VALLEY - SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA
MAINSTREAM IS LIVE FROM SILICON VALLEY INSIDE THE SAP ARENA IN SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA!
RECORDED EARLIER TODAY...
James Edwards walks through the door separating the parking lot from the arena. He wears a t-shirt and jeans with a black gear bag over his shoulder. The Burning Heart noticeably limps, a souvenir from his fight with Julian Cutlass earlier in the week in the Lion's Road promotion. He scowls at the camera.
JAMES EDWARDS: Before you ask, the knee is fine. I'm cleared to compete tonight and have a brace handy in case I need the damn thing.
CAMERAMAN: Any thoughts on Eli Buchanan?
Edwards smirks at the mention of his rivals' name and keeps hobbling along; the camera operator keeps pace with him.
JAMES EDWARDS: Mr. Glass? He ain't gonna be able to make any excuses after I mop the floor with em' tonight. For a guy who wanted to fight me so bad, he jumped me from behind, Eli wasn't too keen to take me on when I accepted his little challenge. We all know why. The guy is brittle. He ain't tough enough to finish a fight he started. He hides behind tag team partners, goons like the Red Army from back in Lion's Road, and the shadows. Not tonight. There ain't gonna be anymore hiding for him; I'm gonna drag him kicking and screaming into the light, and then make short work of the bastard.
CAMERAMAN: Even with a bad knee.
Edwards frowns.
JAMES EDWARDS: I told you already, the knee is fine, just a little stiff.
As James walks out of the picture, the grimace on his face
tells a different story about the severity of his injury.

“Horsemen” by Kings of Awesome plays as Hammerstein, Alan Envy, and Mason Moore step out from behind the curtain and onto the stage. Each of them wearing black Midnight Horsemen t-shirts. Hammerstein stops, turns to the back and motions for someone to come out. The crowd gasps in shock as former Seattle Pro Heavyweight Champion, Coral Rose steps out flanked by security guards.
MCKAYLA LEWIS: What is she doing here? She doesn't work for Seattle Pro!
CHARLES HUDSON: Hammerstein told me earlier that he had a special guest and a huge announcement. And if the special guest is any indication, this is gonna be a HUGE announcement.
The crowd boos as the group makes their way to the ring. Envy and Moore enter the ring as Hammerstein climbs the steps, extends his hand, and helps Coral onto the apron. He holds the ropes open for her to enter the ring.
Hammerstein takes the microphone from Graham Stevens and dismisses him from the ring.
JACOB HAMMERSTEIN: Now I know that Robb Daniels is about to have a coronary in the back, but hey that's too bad. Seattle Pro gives us tickets and backstage passes for special VIP guests, and they don't get any more VIP than Coral Rose. Tell em Coral.
CORAL ROSE: Surprise. Did you really think Robb, and Lauren could keep me, the only one who was worthy enough to be Queen away? Don't worry, I'm not here to hurt anyone. I am here for one reason, and only one reason. Hammy, why don't you tell them.
JACOB HAMMERSTEIN: So you may be wondering why we're all out here tonight, kicking off the show. Well, we've been talking for some time now. There's an old saying that goes “All good things must come to an end.” And tonight...
Hammerstein, Envy, and Moore pull off their Midnight Horsemen T-shirts and hold them up.
JACOB HAMMERSTEIN: I'm ending The Midnight Horsemen in Seattle Pro….tonight.
The crowd gasps in shock.
MCKAYLA LEWIS: Well that is HUGE news!
CHARLES HUDSON: And definitely unexpected. There were rumors of recruitment for the Horsemen, but Hammerstein is putting those rumors to rest tonight.
JACOB HAMMERSTEIN: Now you may be asking why. Why bring an end to the most dominant group in the history of Seattle Pro, hell in all the sport?
“Because we've done all we can do as a group. We've held every title here, and titles in companies around the world.”
“Tell ‘em bout it, Uncle Al.”
ALAN ENVY:: Ever since we gave Scotty Latimer and Billy Danielson the old heave ho, people have asked who we were gonna get to replace them. And we looked around at all the talent in Seattle Pro and we saw…..
“No one.”
Envy hands the microphone to Mason Moore, who flexes his pectorals.
MASON MOORE:: There's noone in this company, or any company for that matter, that matches up with the Horsemen when it comes to pure, raw talent.
JACOB HAMMERSTEIN: So, much like they use to do to race horses and work horses when there was nothing else for them…..I'm putting The Horsemen down.Down. Dead. RIP.
“But let's make one thing crystal f***in clear. It’s not Latimer nor Danielson that's killing The Horsemen. And it sure as hell ain't the guy that gave himself the name “The Horsemen Slayer” AJ Knight killing The Horsemen.”
“Only The Horsemen can kill The Horsemen. And noone, NO-F***IN-ONE, picked up the Horsemen flag and carried it like this group right here.”
“So all you Johnny come latelies who wanna take credit for ending the most elite group in professional wrestling, close your mouths and open your eyes.”
Hammerstein reaches into his pocket and hands Coral a lighter.
JACOB HAMMERSTEIN: None of you could get the job done.
Hammerstein, Envy, and Moore hold their Horsemen shirts up as Coral strikes the lighter, setting the shirts on fire. The Horsemen drop the burning shirts on the mat, then walks over and holds the ropes open for Coral to exit the ring.
The Horsemen step through the ropes, hop to the floor, and accompany Coral to the back.
MCKAYLA LEWIS: What a way to start off LUST!
CHARLES HUDSON: An end of an era, Lou. An end of an era.
